Frameless Glass Online sells frameless glass shower screens for delivery across Sydney Metro. This page explains, in plain English, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and how you can ask us about it. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you contact us. If you use our contact form or email us, we receive what you send: usually your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
When you use the Fit Check. The Fit Check asks for your name, email, suburb, and optionally your phone number, rough dimensions and notes. It opens an email in your own email app, addressed to us, and nothing is sent until you press send. If you attach a photo of your bathroom to that email, we receive the photo too.
When you place an order. Checkout is run by Stripe on its own secure page. Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, billing address, delivery address and payment details. We receive your name, contact details, delivery address and what you ordered, so we can supply and deliver it.
Your card details are handled by Stripe and never touch this website. We never see or store your full card number.
When you browse. Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the site secure.
Why we collect it
- To answer your questions and Fit Check requests.
- To take payment for your order, and to send you a receipt and a tax invoice.
- To arrange delivery of your order.
- To handle returns, exchanges and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- To keep the business records the law requires, including tax records.
Who we share it with
- Stripe processes payments and sends receipts and tax invoices. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the information it collects at checkout.
- Vercel hosts this website.
- Our delivery partner receives your name, phone number and delivery address so they can deliver your order.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts on this site, so your browser requests them from Google's servers.
Stripe, Vercel and Google may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.
Analytics and cookies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Stripe's checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments and help prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, including tax invoices, for at least five years, because Australian tax law requires business records to be kept for five years. We keep enquiry and Fit Check emails for as long as we need them to help you and support your order.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Email us at sales2@showerscreen.com.au or use the contact form on our home page. We aim to respond within 30 days.
